The upper material of the shoes is made of Portuguese mulesing-free sheep’s wool in a dense knit for good protection against nature’s elements. This woollen fabric is called Burel, and has been providing protection from the weather for more than 100 years. The handmade material is flexible, soft on the inside and durable on the outside.
