Scarpa Zodiac GTX – Approach Shoes

Anything is possible!The Scarpa Zodiac GTX is a waterproof and robust approach shoe, which won’t be out of place climbing or hiking. With its colourful and sporty design it looks good for day to day wear too!The outer material is suede and is remarkably comfortable, long-lasting and has been constructed with minimal join seams. There are robust rubber reinforcements on the heel and toe areas. The loops around the opening enable the shoes to be pulled on easily, and they can also be used to hang the shoes from a carabiner on the belt, or to join both the shoes together, making them well suited to multi-pitch tours or as safety shoes.The GORE-TEX membrane gives these shoes durable waterproof properties. With the soft collar featuring Autofit fit the Achilles area sits perfectly in the shaft. And Scarpa’s special Autofit technology ensures a comfortable and secure fit on the instep. The comfortable tongue is partially gusseted at the sides to avoid folds and seams which can chafe and irritate the feet.The grippy sole has a thinner front region to give the forefoot and toes a better connection with the ground (with Climbing Zone). The heels are equipped with a cushioning core which provides solid cushioning qualities while climbing. The sole is torsion resistant and designed to be more suitable for rubble and stony ground than for surfaced paths.The Scarpa Zodiac GTX is a unisex shoe which can be resoled.
