All-round running shoes with potential for more
With the second generation of Cloudflow, ON broadens your horizons with a new performance level. It combines reliability and an enjoyable running experience with a degree of forward propulsion, making it great for training and amateur runs.
Good traditions should be preserved
On the whole, these shoes are very like their predecessor – puristic and pared down to the essentials. The collar material is highly breathable and lightweight. The tongue is slightly padded and the heel reinforced to secure the foot in the shoe without cutting in. The fit at the heel has been improved in comparison to the predecessor.
The sole design is based on the earlier model: Helion foam in the Clouds cushions every stride and gives an even gait cycle with a simultaneous high degree of flexibility. The glued in Speedboard element further supports the gait cycle.
Fit and power
The last has ON’s signature design – quite narrow, with a flat toe box. This makes them a good pair of shoes for narrow to regular feet – they aren’t really suitable for wide feet.
The outsoles have rubber elements at the front and back that give a very good grip on dry asphalt and prevent wear. However, the grip deteriorates noticeably in the wet.
Highlights at a glance:
- All-round running shoes with a very lightweight feel
- Very well suited to training sessions on asphalt
- Classic ON gait cycle – easy and smooth
- Partly recycled polyester in the collar
